# Slash commands

Every slash command the bot exposes, grouped by area.

All commands are gated by the [permissions allow list](/acoservice-documentation/discord-integration/slash-commands.md) unless noted as "always available."

| Command   | Args             | What it does                                                                   |
| --------- | ---------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| `/ticket` | `[topic] [user]` | Open a private ticket. `user` is staff-only — opens it on that member's behalf |
| `/close` | — | Close the ticket in this channel, file its transcript, remove the channel |

## /support — ticket and mod-log config

Admin only.

| Command                      | Args      | What it does                                                   |

| `/support status`            | —         | Both flags, staff roles, all three channels, open ticket count |
| `/support tickets`           | —         | List the open tickets in this server                           |

{% hint style="warning" %}
With no staff role configured, tickets are visible only to server administrators — not to your moderators, and with nothing in Discord to indicate a problem. `/support status` says so.
{% endhint %}

## /help — always available

`/help` works for every member regardless of the allow list. It shows:

* Quick intro to the bot
* Link to your tenant's site
* Per-role hints (member vs admin)

## Admin slash commands NOT in the bot

Some admin actions are website-only — there's no slash equivalent:

* Customer / identifier management → `/admin/customers`
* Form template editing → `/admin/forms`
* Product list / pricing → `/admin/products`
* Branding → `/admin/branding`
* Settings (API keys, feature flags) → `/admin/settings`

Reason: these benefit from a real form UI rather than a chat command.

## How to find what's available in your guild

Type `/` in any channel. Discord shows the list of commands the bot has. If a command isn't in the dropdown:

* The bot might not be in the channel.
* You might not have permission (commands you can't use are hidden).
* The bot might not have synced its commands recently (rare; redeploy fixes).

{% hint style="info" %}
**Discord caches command lists.** If you just got slash command access added, log out of Discord (or restart the app) — the dropdown updates next time the cache refreshes.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://acoservice.gitbook.io/acoservice-documentation/reference/slash-commands.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
